 5320 and later Handset - Roaming Extension Login / Logout Procedure

A “roaming extension” phone is easily identified by the ‘LOCKED’ message at the top of the display. 

 

In this state, the phone can only be used to make pre-defined emergency calls. It cannot make or receive standard calls. 

To Login with your personal Roaming Extension, click the Hot Desk button, followed by the Login button. 

You will be prompted to enter your extension number. 

Using the numerical keypad, enter your extension number. 

Press the OK button. You’ll be prompted to enter your PIN. 

Enter your PIN. It will be blanked out with asterisks for security purposes. 

 

Press OK. You’ll see a login confirmation prompt if your details were validated, else you’ll see a login failure prompt and you’ll need to re-enter your details. 

 

 

You’ve now successfully logged into a phone with your personal Roaming Extension. 

 

If you need to logout, press the Logout button. 

You’ll be prompted for confirmation, press the Logout button again. 

 

You’ll see a logout confirmation message and the handset will return to the state at the start of this procedure, ready for the next person to login to.

To Login with your personal Roaming Extension, key *44 on the keypad. Then press *.  
You will be prompted to enter your extension number.
Using the numerical keypad, enter your extension number.   
Press the # button. You’ll be prompted to enter your PIN.  
Enter your PIN. It will be blanked out with asterisks for security purposes. If you make a mistake, use * to delete the last digit entered.  
Press #. You’ll see a login confirmation prompt if your details were validated, else you’ll see a login failure prompt and you’ll need to re-enter your details.  
You’ve now successfully logged into a phone with your personal Roaming Extension.  
If you need to logout, key #44 on the keypad.
You’ll be prompted for confirmation, press the # button.
 
You’ll see a logout confirmation message and the handset will return to the state at the start of this procedure, ready for the next person to login to.
