Service Description  

Kinetics (Kx) is an application used for external and student residential bookings, conferencing, external and internal catering bookings, external event management and marketing activities.

How to access this service
Kinetics web Student accommodation: Allows student to request accommodation and is used to communicate the details and contracts back to the student. https://residencesonline.qmul.ac.uk/

Kinetics web Student Inductions: Integrated in the above, and provides the student with an induction process prior to arrival, once accommodation has been confirmed.

Kinetics web B&B: This site allows residential accommodation to be advertised and booked online by external individuals. https://book.qmaccommodation.co.uk/

For staff, the main Kinetics system is not web based and needs to be accessed by Citrix which can be requested from the IT Service Desk.

Kinetics related requests should be made 5 working days in advance

Cost

There is no cost to the user for this service, but it is a role based service so will need local approval prior to requesting access.

Hours of Service: 24/7/365
Supported Monday to Friday 8am–6pm (excluding bank holidays and university closure days).
