Early Life Support


The purpose of the stage is to run the completed application in the live environment, supported by the support elements described in the Support Model.

What happens

The completed application or service runs in the live environment. Any operational issues occurring during the preliminary period immediately after the deployment of a release can be resolved by appropriate teams overseen by the Project Manager. 

Once the Early Life Support exit criteria has been met, the Project Manager can seek Project Board approval at Gate 7, to move into business as usual, and begin to prepare the project closure documentation.
