New spam filtering rules added to staff and student mailboxes
From Monday, 26 November, IT Services will be applying new spam email filtering rules to all student and staff mailboxes.
From Monday, 26 November, IT Services will be applying new spam email filtering rules to all student and staff mailboxes. This is expected to reduce the amount of spam to Queen Mary email accounts by 30 per cent. Please be aware of the small possibility that some legitimate emails may get marked as spam, and end up in your "Junk Email" folder. We ask that you regularly check your junk folder, and let us know of any problems with legitimate emails being reported as spam to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you wish to opt out, and NOT use the newly introduced rules, you will be able to remove them from your mailbox by following the instructions on the IT Services website.
