IT Training 2012-2013

 

IT training courses are provided by IT Services. These courses are intended primarily for members of Queen Mary although they are available, for a charge, to people who are not members of the college. The current external charge is £50 per half day, which is reduced to £40 for college alumni.

You can download enrolment forms for courses and ECDL tests to print yourself, or request them from IT Services Reception.

Courses are available in the following categories:

For beginners: Personal Computing for beginners
Office applications: Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
DTP and Graphics: Adobe InDesign, QuarkXPress
Operating systems: Windows
Networking: Dreamweaver, email, HTML, System Security, TCP/IP
Programming: C notes are available at www.its.qmul.ac.uk/training/manuals/
Specialist software: SPSS
