Most networked IT services, including QMplus and email, use the same QMUL username and password. Therefore, when you change your password for one of these services, your password will automatically change for all the others.

You are responsible for protecting your password. Don’t let other people use it, no matter how good a reason they give you.

Forgot your password

If you can’t remember your password, please contact the IT Service Desk and ask them to reset it.  

Keep your password secure

You should never be asked for your password by any member of staff at QMUL – if anyone asks you to tell them it, refuse. If IT Service staff need to be able to use a service “as you” to help investigate a problem, they will ask you to sign into the service on their behalf.

We will never send you an email asking you to click on a link and log in on that page. You will always be directed to the relevant QMUL webpage and asked follow links from there.
