Service Description  

The Network Services  provides access to the Internet, Intranet and College IT systems, services and applications.

QM's connection to the Internet is provided by JANET. The network service monitors this connection and liaises with JANET staff in the event of any service affecting issues. Access to the Internet is subject QMUL policies which comply to the JANET acceptable use policy.

Lead time

Network Services related requests should be made 5 working days in advance.

Cost

There is no cost to the user for this service, but it is a role based service so will need local approval prior to requesting access.

Availability

Hours of Service: 24/7/365
Supported Monday to Friday 8am–6pm (excluding bank holidays and university closure days).
