Project management office

The role of the Project Management Office (PMO) is to enable good governance at project and programme level.

The PMO sets the governance framework that all the projects follow. This includes the overall principles (which are based on the PRINCE2 methodology), the reporting processes and the documentation templates. The PMO tracks the overall programme budget and facilitates the operation of the IT Strategy Board (ITSB).
